Our Year 3/4 girls’ football team travelled to Cobham Training Centre yesterday to compete in the Sussex Finals—and what a day it was. Delivering an exceptional performance, the team won all seven of their matches, conceding just one goal across the entire tournament to be crowned Sussex Champions 2026!

This remarkable achievement reflects the talent, teamwork and determination shown by every player throughout the competition. The girls should be immensely proud of their success, and we know they’ll be eager to share their experience with the rest of the school.

To cap off an unforgettable day, three players were scouted and invited to attend Chelsea Development Pathway training sessions, a fantastic opportunity and testament to the high standard of football on display. A truly memorable and inspiring achievement all round.
